Guillermo

I had a “mini” lesson with Guillermo, and it was awesome. He has different lesson plans for shorter lessons (30 min), which was a pleasant surprise. Guillermo’s organizational skills are the finishing touch on a litany of other qualifications that make him an ideal instructor. I don’t want to rave too much about him because I don’t want him to become unavailable for future lessons, but he is the G.O.A.T. of Spanish teaching.

Guillermo is excellent at encouraging me to leave my comfort zone as a learner, which is important. Otherwise, I'd be stuck in the present tense, talking about very simple subjects. Instead, he leads me into complex conversations on topics that span decades and even centuries, with thought-provoking prompts and questions. At the same time, he allows me plenty of time to find the correct words to express my thoughts, and only intervenes when absolutely necessary. 10/10!
