ALL LEVELS are welcome, including absolute beginners *** *** Sorry, I don't teach children/teenagers (18 y.o and up) *** ______ Salut! Hi! I'm a French/English teacher and native speaker, originally from Montreal, Canada. ¡También hablo español fluido! I currently live in NYC, but I lived 6 and a half years in Latin America, mostly in Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina and Chile. I'm a traveler at heart and I love learning about new cultures, meeting new people and expanding my horizons. I teach every student to the best of my abilities, but I also learn a ton from every encounter. Nearly 10,000 lessons later, this journey on italki has been absolutely delightful and enriching. You can expect the lessons to be tailored to your needs. Perhaps you want to pass a TEF, TCF, DELF, DALF, IELTS or TOEFL exam? Or maybe you are learning French or English for travel-related reasons? Perhaps you want to give your brain a nice workout, and learn these beautiful (and not-so-easy) languages? In every case, I'm here to help! I'll provide you with a clear and simple structure to ensure proper progress and interesting conversations along the way! All material is provided for free. Please reach out in the chat section for any additional questions, or feel free to book a trial lesson to get things started!

I am so glad that I found Julien on iTalki. I have worked with a few teachers, but he is by far the best! He provides excellent guidance and clear, understandable answers to my questions. His supportive and encouraging teaching style, combined with the wealth of interesting content he presents, makes him an excellent choice if you are looking for someone to help you with your goal to learn a new language!

Lessons with Julien have improved my speaking and comprehension and taken me from being an anxious A2 student to being more committed and more confident. Highly recommended
