Hi! 😀😀 My name is Adrián and I am a Spanish tutor with experience teaching online on different platforms. My main focus is to help my students improve their ability to communicate in Spanish, both in CONVERSATION and READING.
Personally, I enjoy practicing sports such as basketball and soccer. I CONSIDER MYSELF A GUY WITH A PASSIONATE HEART FOR NATURE, AN UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO ITS PROTECTION.
I also enjoy learning about different cultures around the world, science, technological advancements, world history, films, and anything that is constructive for life.Me as a Teacher
I believe that kindness and empathy are fundamental in the relationship between a teacher and a student 🧑🤝🧑. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging and sometimes intimidating, so I will strive to create a calm and relaxed environment in my lessons. If you are at an advanced level, we can have enriching conversations on any topic. If you are at an intermediate or basic level, I can provide you with tools to make progress. During the lessons, we discuss everyday life situations, and I provide you with grammatical tools to enhance your conversational skills in the language. I believe that learning through conversations with everyday vocabulary and phrases, along with their respective translation into your native language, helps you relate and understand their meaning by connecting the two languages and facilitating comprehension.
I also use systematic repetition to help students memorize and retain the learning material effectively.My teaching material

I had my first lesson with Adrián today and really enjoyed it! He sent me two interesting articles before class to prepare for our lesson. During the class we read them aloud to practice pronunciation, reviewed new vocabulary and discussed the central themes. It is a very effective teaching method and I'm excited to take more classes with Adrián!

Another high-yield class with Adrián! We reviewed the use of the indicative versus the subjunctive with certain constructions to convey specific meanings in various situations. I learn a great deal each and every class. The explanations and examples that Adrián provides while teaching grammatical concepts are hands-down, far and away the best of any tutor I have worked with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their Spanish grammar and/or conversational skills.
