I am a native English speaker and I live in England. My hobbies include: drawing and painting, reading, cooking, hiking, bird watching, climbing, travelling and being outdoors. I have also recently started Thai Boxing. In January 2020, I returned to the UK after travelling in South America for four months. I have also spent a lot of time travelling South East Asia and Europe. My favourite things to do when travelling includes meeting new people, eating local foods and learning about the different cultures. I look forward to hearing about your home country! I am a friendly and patient teacher, excited to help you improve your English language skills. We will have relaxed informal lessons to help you gain the confidence to use your English. I have a bachelors degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Studies from Liverpool John Moores University and I have a 140 hour TEFL Certificate including 20 hours in a classroom. In our first lesson, we will have a friendly conversation on your hobbies and interests as well as why you want to learn English. This will allow me to adapt your lessons to make them fun and engaging, while allowing you to improve your English. After the first lesson, we can continue informal conversation classes or discuss any grammar points you struggle with such as: tenses, prepositions, passive voice and many others.
