My academic background is in Linguistics, Psychology, Language acquisition, CELTA, DELTA. I teach online full time from my home near Edinburgh, Scotland and work with students from all around the world to help them with their exam preparation, feeling more confident speaking English at work or simply for the love of learning English. I myself love learning languages and have been teaching myself languages since I was eight years old! I believe that language is dynamic and exciting and it should be learned this way. As a teacher learn about you as a person, your motivation for learning English, how you would like to speak and sound, and the best way to get you there! I am an active listener and will highlight where your strengths are and pick up on areas for improvement in a positive but focused way. Lessons are structured yet relaxed so you can feel confident while expressing yourself in English. I believe learning happens best when we are calm, engaged and content-so I try to make sure lessons are challenging yet dynamic, this way you can get the most out of our time together. I give consistent feedback on your language performance and how to improve.
