I’m a native English speaker from England. I’m CELTA qualified and I have 7 years teaching experience both online and in schools. I love travelling and I have lived in Holland, Hungary, Siberia and in Kyrgyzstan. During the last 3 years I worked for a school in Kyrgyzstan, specialising in exam preparation especially IELTS and Olympiad preparation. I now live in England and have a good knowledge of Russian. I have taught students from 6 years old to 50+ years old. Their language levels ranged from beginners to advanced. I love learning languages; I can speak 4 languages and I have a BA Honours degree in French and Spanish.
I'm an enthusiastic, patient and committed teacher. I'm good at making you feel comfortable and reducing your anxiety using English. I know how hard it can be to learn languages and specially to practice your speaking. As a native English speaker as well as working on your speaking, grammar, listening, reading and writing skills we can work on pronunciation, intonation, slang and colloquial English and study the culture in England. I can help you prepare for exams such as IELTS, TOEFL etc. I have experience teaching business and medical English and beginners too.
My lessons are based on the needs and goals of the student. We can either create a personalised learning plan designed to reach your language goals or we can work through a textbook together (I can recommend several if required). We will work on all language skills but with an emphasis on speaking...My teaching material
