I had a very positive experience learning French with François. He has a structured approach and teaches in a realistic and practical way, which makes learning French feel manageable rather than overwhelming. Lessons are well planned and focused on building a solid foundation while gradually improving confidence in all four parts of the language. François is patient, clear in his explanations, and adapts well to the learner’s level. Even someone starting from zero, as well as learners at an intermediate stage, can benefit if they are serious and committed. He encourages consistency and helps you stay motivated without pressure. His charges are also very reasonable for the quality of teaching and material he provides. I would strongly recommend François to anyone who is genuinely interested in learning French in a clear, practical, and structured way.

I had a great trial lesson with François. He was very easy to work with, understood my learning objective perfectly, and was willing to help me with exactly what I wanted even though it was somewhat atypical. I appreciated what he shared about his teaching philosophy and different approaches to French learning, and that he was willing to share his insights on the merits of each approach without being prescriptive or imposing.

I love studying with Francois, it's the highlight of my day. I make a big leap forward with every lesson. He's genuinely invested in my success, this comes through each time. I learn in a variety of ways with him including drills, reading comprehension, recall and speaking, pronunciation, and grammar deep-dives. I have been trying to learn French off and on for many years... I don't think I would be continuing to study French now if I hadn't found Francois. One needs a caring, engaged, and knowledgable teacher and he is that person! I would recommend him to anyone at any level of skill.
