Hi there! My name is Barbara, I'm from Germany, and I have been offering German conversation practice here on italki since May 2020. I am talkative, patient, flexible, and open-minded.
I discovered my passion for teaching early on when I started tutoring English in high school. I hold a degree as a Foreign Language Correspondent for English and have used Business English, French, and Spanish throughout my career at various international companies.
Through years of video calls with speakers from all over the world, I've gained a deep understanding of the typical challenges you face with German grammar and pronunciation.
I prefer an informal and relaxed teaching style. We can talk about any topic of your choice to suit your needs. If you're unsure what to talk about, I'll be glad to guide the conversation.
