Iva

Speaking to Iva was a lot of fun and very productive. I learnt a lot of worthwhile language and grammar in order to express my self in the future. I recommend both of Iva’s classes, she’s truly an amazing teacher.

I’ve only been learning Korean from Iva for a month and I seriously can’t believe the progress I’ve made. Her lessons are well structured (with plenty of freedom to allow for natural conversation, too) and she is an outstanding communicator who can use Korean words I already know to explain concepts and vocabulary. If it weren’t for Iva, I would be nowhere near as confident in my speaking ability and would not feel as motivated to continue learning Korean. 이바 선생님, 저한테 잘 가르쳐 줘서 감사합니다!!

As always, Iva쌤 was prepared, patient, and purposeful with her lesson (the 3 P's). She can teach everyone from complete beginners to advanced learners. Her grammar teaching approach is great especially for intermediate learners looking to get over the "intermediate plateau". She is able to stick to Korean to explain concepts in simpler ways, without resorting to English. Highly recommend her grammar lessons!

Iva선생님 is one of the best teachers on the Italki platform! My understanding of Korean has improved at a fast pace. Her classes are very well-structured and she makes sure you fully understand each lesson's grammar points. I really appreciate her patience and ability to explain concepts in Korean words that I can understand.

Iva helped me a lot to improve my pronunciation. I contacted different teachers, but only Iva really paid attention to the things that were important to me.

I've had 4 lessons with Iva and have already felt myself improving. She does a great job creating an encouraging environment to practice speaking, and her lesson structure/materials are great as well.
