Iva

Speaking to Iva was a lot of fun and very productive. I learnt a lot of worthwhile language and grammar in order to express my self in the future. I recommend both of Iva’s classes, she’s truly an amazing teacher.

As always, Iva쌤 was prepared, patient, and purposeful with her lesson (the 3 P's). She can teach everyone from complete beginners to advanced learners. Her grammar teaching approach is great especially for intermediate learners looking to get over the "intermediate plateau". She is able to stick to Korean to explain concepts in simpler ways, without resorting to English. Highly recommend her grammar lessons!

Very good first lesson - Iva made an effort to speak mostly in Korean and I remembered more than I thought I would. I look forward to working with Iva in the furture!

I’ve only been learning Korean from Iva for a month and I seriously can’t believe the progress I’ve made. Her lessons are well structured (with plenty of freedom to allow for natural conversation, too) and she is an outstanding communicator who can use Korean words I already know to explain concepts and vocabulary. If it weren’t for Iva, I would be nowhere near as confident in my speaking ability and would not feel as motivated to continue learning Korean. 이바 선생님, 저한테 잘 가르쳐 줘서 감사합니다!!

Iva's lessons are a challenge, but fun and engaging. We reviewed several grammar topics that I had learned a few years ago but didn't remember that well, but even though it was grammar, it felt more like a conversation. I'm looking forward to continuing lessons and hopefully making more progress!
