I have a degree in English, experience teaching French online, and I also lived in the USA as an au pair, where I taught French to children. I’m currently taking courses with Alliance Française to become a certified French teacher, and I have completed several MOOCs in language teaching and pedagogy. I’m constantly developing my teaching skills to offer effective and engaging lessons. I teach children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to more advanced learners. I particularly enjoy working with children, but I also love helping adults improve their French for everyday life, travel, work or personal goals. My lessons are structured around professional French language textbooks and teaching materials, which I adapt to each student’s level, age and objectives. I also use visual resources, presentations, books, games and personalised activities to make lessons interactive and engaging. I was impressed with Gaelle's preparation. She prepared audios to practice listening, reading material to learn vocab and to check comprehension, and information on verb conjugation. She covered a lot of ground in 30 minutes. Although she is obviously great with English, she spoke to me in pure French which is something I need to be able to progress! Thank you for challenging me and being patient!
