Community tutor with 4 years experience in teaching German. Hi, my name is Karoline. I am a 47 year old Swiss living in Asia. I have a tourism and hospitality background. Growing up in Switzerland I was lucky enough to learn several foreign languages early on. In primary school it was German (my native language) and Romansh and then later on in secondary school , French, English and Italian. I even spent a year in the US as an exchange student which really helped improve my language skills. Knowing a lot of languages is a huge plus and it made travelling much easier and more interesting. My main concern is that you get out of the lessons what you expect and what your goal is. The main focus is on conversation. During which I can give feedback about grammar and also vocabulary.

Studying a language is a longer term commitment, setting realistic goals, and own dedication are also essential to a successful outcome.
