Living in Berlin, Germany

Hallo! Hi! My name is Ruth, I'm originally from Austria, but I have been living in Berlin now for quite a while. I love to work with language - since 2018 I have been teaching German as a foreign language and have experience working with groups and individual students. Further to this, I also work as a professional screenplay writer. My lessons are goal-oriented and have a clear structure. It is very important to me to tailor the content to the students´ wishes. I make sure to give my students the time they need and I also use humor and creativity to activate learning. At the same time, I take great care to communicate clearly and concisely.

Ruth is an amazing German teacher, super enthusiastic and helpful. I always feel a little bit challenged (in a good way). Highly recommended.

My lesson with Ruth was very enjoyable. We had a good conversation on topics that interest us both. Ruth gently corrected my mistakes. I learned some new words and was reminded of some grammar points. We looked at a couple of short videos to help me improve my listening and understaning ability (Hörverstandnis). Ruth gave me some home work, which is to watch a video and answer questions about its content. I have been learning with Ruth and doing self-directed learning for 5 years now and have made considerable progress. It is and has been great fun.

Thank you so much, the teacher is very kind and fun. She let me talk and then corrected all of my mistakes. Will definitely take other lessons from her:)
