My name is Tabitha and I’ve been a certified EFL teacher since 2019! I’m passionate about languages and in my free time, I enjoy improving my level of French and Chinese. I love to travel and have visited countries all across the world. Currently, I’m based in London in the United Kingdom. I love literature and usually have my nose in a book. After several years in charities and in the corporate sector, I decided to pursue my passion for education. I gained my teaching qualification in 2019 and moved to Fuzhou, China to teach English! Since then, I have taught in classrooms, online, and as a private tutor in France. My conversation classes are very popular - I love learning new things with my students and discussing a huge variety of topics. I also work as a project manager, writer and content creator.My lessons & teaching style

GA Level 5 Teaching Business English - Gatehouse Awards (Ofqual regulated) - 2022This additional 60-hour diploma focused on teaching Business English in multiple contexts and provides me with a strong background in key needs and outcomes for BE students. Knowledge was assessed throughout the course by mandatory quizzes, culminating in a final multiple-choice exam and written test (planning a Business English lesson according to given scenario, plus all lesson materials).

I would definitely recommend Tabitha as an English teacher, especially for advanced students. I was looking for a teacher who could help me to progress further. I feel kinda stuck at the moment in terms of some language intricacies, I find myself sounding quite robotic while speaking at times.
And Tabitha is so helpful in this regard actually. She provides me with better alternatives to the fairly basic words and out-of-context vocab I often use. This is not something that every English teacher is capable of doing right off the cuff.
