Thea

If you are interested in languages, Thea is a fantastic teacher/tutor/coach. Currently I'm focused on French but I'm also still improving in Spanish and I'm beginning vocabulary and grammar in Italian. Thea is able to compare and contrast various latin based languages with me. I find I can better remember grammar and vocabulary when I find similarities between French and Spanish or French and Italian. Furthermore because she is a passionate language learner herself, she always shares new resources and suggestions. My experience has always been great each and every week. Thea is a most wonderful teacher! She takes the time to get to know you and tailors the curriculum based on your needs and how you learn best. She is very flexible and patient, making learning a lot less stressful. I've been a student for a few months and I can definitively say that I've learned more in my time with her than I could have on my own. She has wealth of knowledge not just with language and teaching techniques, but relevant experience with several different cultures. I would highly recommend her as an instructor ^_^

Each class with Thea is a fun, interactive learning experience. She customises the lessons so they fit my way of learning and exploring the Spanish language. The variety of topics approached during the learning sessions is a great way to extend the vocabulary and to gain confidence in building more complex sentences. I highly recommend Thea as a tutor.

Me encanto la primera sección de Italiano con Thea. Ella es una persona super dinamica, super facil de hablar y me encanta que ella entendio mis objetivos muy bien. Estoy emocionada de ver que puedo lograr con sus clases.

It was very nice talking with Thea!She is very friendly and immediately asked me all the necessary questions to understand exactly what I need to learn. We even learned a few simple words in the language right away. I really enjoyed the experience. Overall, I definitely recommend taking classes with Thea, she is amazing!!!
