I had 2 weeks to prepare to do the SDS exam aiming at an A2. I booked daily preparation classes with Manuel during those 2 weeks. After 2-3 classes I immediately felt I had progressed heavily. Manuel has a very good technique, is very efficient, engaged and always comes prepared and provides excellent materials via different online platforms. I have now done the exam and received my results. I obtained an A2 in the listening and speaking section and a B1 in the writing and reading comprehension. These results are even better than I expected! I would recommend anyone preparing for the SDS exam to book classes with Manuel.

Excellent interview perpetration lesson. Manuel took the time to review my CV and write personal questions as well as go though a list of frequent and difficult questions. Manuel covered not only the German language aspect of the interview, but also mindset and approach. Very much a coach as well as a teacher. Shortly after the lesson I received a word document with all of the questions we went through and also feedback from the lesson. I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the lesson. Highly recommended.

Ich finde den Unterricht mit Manuel sehr produktiv und effektiv. Er hilft mir, mich auf die deutsche B1-Prüfung vorzubereiten und die Prüfung zu bestehen. Jetzt bereite ich mich mit ihm weiter auf die B2-Goethe-Prüfung vor. Er zeigt mir meine Fehler ausführlich und ermutigt mich. Ich schlage ihn auf jeden Fall als Lehrer weiter vor.

Manuel is a truly outstanding tutor: knowledgeable, prepared and professional. What I appreciate the most, however, is his compassionate approach. I really enjoyed my lesson with Manuel. I am preparing for the Goethe Insititut C1 Exam, and I am looking for a lot of detailed study. Manuel seems very prepared to offer what I am looking for.

Manuel is an exceptional linguist and tutor who has helped me grow as a writer, reader, and speaker of German. One of Manuel’s superpowers is his ability to dive deep on any sentence or grammar structure and really help you understand what’s going on — and teach tips or mnemonics to improve retention (for example: “RESE NESE MeRMaiN SiR SiR”) — concepts I had not learned even in classroom instruction elsewhere. Over the past several months working with him, it’s been rewarding to write essays, to read ever-more-complex articles, and to become more comfortable in spoken conversation. Manuel will also thoughtfully offer pronunciation corrections when he notices mistakes, and tailor follow-up exercises based on areas that he sees opportunity for improvement in. I highly recommend working with Manuel.
