My name is Jemima, I'm from Argentina, I'm 37 years old. In recent years I have been living in a Quechua-speking community in Bolivia. I a have a six years old son who studies at home, I´m one of his teachers! I love learning languages, actually I'm learning Chinese now. I love traveling and reading books. During this last 10 years in the Quechua-speaking community in Bolivia, I've worked as a teacher, working with kids, teenagers and adults, and helping older people to read and write. Before that, in Argentina, I graduated as Computer teacher, and worked 7 years in several schools. In my classes, I like to help my students creating a relaxed atmosphere, motivating them to speak as much as they can, showing patience, asking questions, and giving them space for making mistakes and then kindly correct them if it´s necessary. I like using pictures, articles, books and comics, and I adjust my classes to each student circumstances.

I really appreciate working with Jemima. She is very patient and provides me with ample opportunity to speak without interruptions to improve my fluency with getting words and thoughts out. I soo appreciate this style. Afterwards, she corrects me on what I might have missed! She also comes prepared with activities to help me improve using verbs in multiple tenses.
