Parents tell me their kids ask for the next class, and many deaf kids end up communicating fluently with hearing family for the first time — sometimes in just weeks. **Methodology & experience** I studied early childhood education and have taught for 17 years in person, plus 6 online, with kids ages 1-12, both deaf and hearing. That's taught me to adapt every lesson to how each kid learns: games, puppets, songs, flashcards, and lots of hands-on practice. I keep "textbook" Spanish to a minimum and focus on real, contextual Spanish with movement — how kids truly retain it. ++What makes me different++ I don't just teach Spanish — I sign in ASL, Chilean, Bolivian, Indian and Turkish sign language, and I'm now learning Thai sign too. Since 2000, I've immersed myself in deaf communities worldwide to learn from the best teachers: deaf people themselves. That lets me offer something rare: helping hearing families communicate with their deaf kids or relatives, with the same warmth I bring to teaching Spanish. 20+ years in, and I still love every class like it's the first!!
