Akane Sensei

Akane-sensei has been teaching my son Japanese for several months now, and he looks forward to lessons! She is a friendly, encouraging, engaging teacher and he even loves doing her homework. Thanks to Akane-sensei, my son is now teaching me Japanese. She definitely makes learning Japanese fun! ありがとうございますあかね先生！

I am lucky to have found Akane-sensei to teach my son a month ago. She is a genuine professional teacher with a talent for imparting and nurturing Japanese language skills, and her lessons are an enjoyable and valuable part of his education. He speaks in Japanese throughout her lessons, and he has made noticeable progress already.

My son loves having lessons with Akane, I believe it is genuinely one of the highlights of his week. He looks forward to his Japanese lesson all week. Akane is so positive and encouraging and shares so many interesting things with him. She's also very open to feedback and tailoring the lessons to have more or less of a focus on different things like the Japanese characters as you would like. Thank you Akane, you are a wonderful teacher!!

This first lesson with Akane-sensei was fantastic. She was super prepared, friendly and made learning fun. It was also clear that she has a lot of experience teaching on-line, with visuals prepared that worked seamlessly into the lesson and made on-line learning much better than I expected.

I've been doing a lot of reading with Akane Sensei lately, just to sort of increase my fluency in Japanese, but she also seems very good at adapting to a level that is best suited for me. I feel I am improving though, and able to understand more and more of what she's showing me. Of course, it is always a pleasure talking with Akane Sensei too :o)

Akane Sensei is an exceptional teacher. She was very encouraging and took the time to really understand what I wanted out of future tutoring sessions. The trial session was very enjoyable! I am eagerly looking forward to booking more lessons in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend her!
