Sarah Ashraf Fares

I enjoy my lessons with Sarah so much that I willingly wake up at 5 am every Thursday morning just to take them. I was extremely tired from lack of sleep the night before, but by the end of our lesson, Sarah made me feel super energetic! Her lessons are always so enjoyable and she is full of energy! I always learn so much during lessons and I love that she makes me write out what we've learned in each lesson. This way, the info sticks better. Can't wait for my next lessons with Sarah!

I had a great first lesson with Sarah and am excited to continue my journey to learn egyptian arabic dialect in future lessons. I'm confident we were able to tailor a plan that fits my goals and I feel comfortable and encouraged to learn with Sarah. Definitely recommend her.

Sarah helped me understand the different words associated with sports clubs in Egypt and the cultural nuances of clubs and parks and the differences between them. This was very informative and I feel confident now that when I visit Egypt I will understand the set up a lot better and be able to navigate the terrain more easily. I'm so glad that Sarah speaks to me all in Arabic even if it is fast for me and I have questions. She takes all my questions and answers them patiently and I am so grateful to have her as a teacher.

Sarah is the best! She is truly amazing and special. Excellent and professional teacher. With a lot of patience and with a big smile. Fun learning from her. Nessma and I talked about celebrations in Egypt like weddings and things that are made by hand and the differences between living in the countryside of Egypt versus the cities. This was very helpful as it is very common conversation. I'm excited to continue our lessons and I feel so much more confident speaking all in Arabic with Nessma as she makes me feel like I can do it even when I lack the knowledge. She is very encouraging.

Sarah is always a pleasure to work with. She is very patient with me even when I get frustrated trying to speak and understand. She is willing to stay speaking in Arabic and not switch back to English and I really appreciate that so much, as it helps me the most to learn. It was good talking to her about the different ways housing is set up in Egypt versus the USA and I feel like I understand the culture more every time I speak with Sarah as well. She encourages me to read and I'm looking forward to giving her another synopsis of what I'm currently reading when I talk to her next week.
