Hi! I am a BRITISH Teacher from Newcastle in the UK. I spent 2 years in China and have studied up to HSK 3 Chinese. I am also currently learning Thai, where. I spent 3 years, as well as Arabic and Russian so I know exactly how you feel when you learn.
I have a FIRST CLASS DEGREE as well as a CELTA certificate from the UK and have completed an IELTS training course helping students meet their goals for University entrance exams and work.
I have taught adults for 8 years plus both online, in private schools, IELTS training centres and more! Some of my students have gone onto Oxford and Cambridge university in the UK after acing their speaking tests! :-)Me as a Teacher
I am friendly, encouraging, passionate and patient. I love teaching and this is clear from my energetic and informative classes. Be it, complicated grammar points or easy going chatting my classes can cater for it all. We can either have a chat or follow a tried and tested course the choice is entirely yours and either way I will be correcting and teaching throughout the class. I also taught IELTS mock speaking classes online for around a year during COVID so I know how the exam works, what they are looking for and tips and tricks to boost your level. Using a combination of mock speaking exams, workbooks, real life texts, videos, and more we will work towards your IELTS goals. I will structure the lessons so that you improve every class with work to do before, practice during and reviews after. I will also give you the tips and tricks that you need to ACE any section of your IELTS exam. UK speakers often get as low as 5 on the IELTS test as they DO NOT UNDERSTAND what the examiner is looking for. I can give you all the tools and knowledge you need to feel comfortable, confident and breeze through the test with ease! :-) OR We can just do a regular class or even just have a chat where I can correct you as much as you like.My teaching material

Ok guys, I highly recommend John!
Firstly, he is supportive & talkative & open-minded, sooo easy to talk, everything can be discussed.
Secondly, he helps you talk in a more natural way. When you are talking, he will mark down what you said, then give you some new and better phrases or idioms, which makes you expressing like a native .
Finally, you can learn a lot on British culture! love communicating with him!👏👏👏
