¡Hooola! 👋🏻 Me llamo Diego y soy profesor de español🇪🇸. I studied Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and have a master's degree in Audiovisual Translation. I also have a postgraduate qualification in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I have worked as a translator and as a Spanish teacher. I lived in Vienna for almost eight years, in Luxembourg, and now I live in China. I speak English, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, and I am now learning Chinese. My hobbies: music (especially classical), singing, reading, writing, learning languages, playing sports, cooking and travelling. I hope I can help you with your Spanish. See you in class soon! 😊

Me as a Teacher

I have several years of experience as a Spanish teacher. I’ve been teaching Spanish to students from all over the world for several years. I have worked especially with German-speaking and Chinese students. Currently I live in China, where I have been working as a Spanish teacher at a university for just over two years.

My lessons & teaching style

In my classes, I like to create a relaxed and communicative atmosphere, where the main goal is to help you overcome your fear of speaking Spanish and feel comfortable expressing yourself. Every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to each person’s needs, interests, level, goals, time, and circumstances. We’ll use a variety of resources and materials to make the classes as dynamic and enjoyable as possible. Motivation is a key element in language learning, and in my lessons I hope to share with you my passion for languages —especially for my native language, Spanish.
