Soy una mujer de 58 años cuya lengua materna es el español pero llevo 30 años dando clases de inglés, especialmente a niños hasta 12 años y a adultos. Me consideran una persona que entabla muy buenas relaciones con sus alumnos y que tiene mucha paciencia y perseverancia. I'm a 58 year-old woman whose mother tongue is Spanish , but I've been teaching English for 30 years, mostly to children under 12 and to adults. I'm considered to be a person who establishes good relationships with her students and that has a lot of patience and perseverance.

Me as a Teacher

Me gusta alentar a los alumnos y llevarlos al máximo de sus potencialidades. Busco cuales son sus gustos y fortalezas y preparo las clases acorde a eso. Tengo el TESOL , certificado que habilita a enseñar inglés y preparo adultos que necesiten tener una entrevista de trabajo en inglés. I like to encourage my students and to maximize the potential in them. I look for their likes, hobbies and strengths and prepare the lessons according to that. I have the TESOL ( certificate that allows you to teach English to speakers of other languages) and I prepare those who want to have a job interview in English.

My lessons & teaching style

Es muy importante la motivación en mis clases para que los alumnos se interesen en ellas. Por esto busco artículos interesantes , videos, canciones y utilizo lenguaje corporal para facilitar y acelerar el aprendizaje. It's important to motivate the students in my lessons so as to engage them quickly. That's why I look for interesting articles, videos, songs and I use body language to make the process of learning easier and faster.

María me ha parecido una gran profesora, me ha gustado mucho su manera de enseñar el idioma, ya que utiliza métodos muy dinámicos y logra que el aprendizaje sea entretenido y efectivo.
