Hi, I'm Katie and I'm from Vancouver, Canada! I'm passionate about learning languages and helping others through the process! I study viola performance at a conservatory and I love discussing music, culture, history, languages, food, and anything else that you'd like. I've learned French, Italian, and am currently learning German and Chinese.
I will help you develop your fluency and also become familiar with everyday spoken English. I can't wait to meet you and be a part of your English journey! :)Me as a Teacher
I am an outgoing individual and I will always support you during our lessons with a big smile! It makes learning sooo much more fun and effective.
I believe that speaking is the most important thing when you learn a language, even if it is difficult at the start!

I would like to share with my students the language learning methods that I have found to work for me in the past. We can have conversations about whatever you'd like and I can correct your mistakes in the chat so that I don't interrupt your flow.

Thank Katie for giving me a hand with my pathetic English. Katie is such a friendly and savvy person. While I was speaking, she was making corrections in the chat. Then, she explained the mistakes I made and how to avoid them to me. At the end of the day, Katie helped me improve my writing skill. Thank you, one more time, for a riveting and useful class.
