I am a NASM certified personal trainer, classical music freak and globetrotting German teacher. Previously I worked as an English-German translator and editor. I began teaching at the private international Colegio Humboldt Caracas in Venezuela, where I was living to work with musicians from the El Sistema orchestras. In addition to preparing students for their DSD I & II and their Studienkollegs, I was an examiner for the oral exams of these language tests. Since then, I have taught pupils of all age groups and proficiency levels – currently students of Tongji University. My specialty is getting people successfully through their German exams.Me as a Teacher
BEGINNERS: We will use the excellent DEUTSCHFUCHS learning platform to together solve interactive exercises and learn everyday vocabulary as well as grammar in easy steps. You will gain free round the clock access to your materials.
ADVANCED STUDENTS: We will expand your vocabulary by talking/writing about everyday topics or specific issues of your choice, or by discussing short articles that we read before the lesson.
EXAM/INTERVIEW PREP: We will be doing official practice exams together or prepare for and hold mock job interviews.
Since my lessons are tailored to the needs of individual students, the clearer your idea of what you want to achieve in what timeframe is, the better :)My lessons & teaching style
Time is money – as is language proficiency. My lessons aren`t the cheapest, but they offer great value. My students pass their exams.
You can choose to take my lessons with a friend or family member without any extra charge.
To also make pricing a non-issue when it comes to selecting the lengths of your lessons, I have priced all my lesson times equivalently. Simply choose whatever duration suits you best.
Lastly, I use the best available 4K webcam and a fiber-optic internet connection for excellent video call quality during my lessons via the italki classroom or Zoom.My teaching material
