Hi, my name is Jahdai. I am a 28-year-old teacher,married and father of two beautiful children. I majored in Industrial engineering, I have a passion for languages. I am fluent in English and Spanish, I speak German and French at an intermediate level, I understand Portuguese and Italian, and currently am learning Japanese. I am from central Mexico, from a state called Guanajuato, I lived in Texas in the past and have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Mexico. I enjoy discussing a wide range of topics and I am always open to learning and exploring new ideasMe as a Teacher
I use various methods to engage and motivate my students such as stories, role play, grammar, reading activities, articles,CI ,and much more. I am patient, understanding, and committed to helping each student succeed. I am also a lifelong language learner and avid reader, plus I have taken over 793 classes ( and counting 😃) on italki as a student so I know the ins and outs of Italki, and will gladly share all my experience.

I can also point out your mistakes right away or at the end of the lesson, whichever you prefer. I will always give you some materials to work with on your own.

English tutorI helped some of my fellow students with their English classes, offering tutoring and coaching for people taking the TOEFL exam. I also prepared some of my classmates for their mid term and final exams.

Community TutorI have been teaching/coaching students learning Spanish and Enlgish on Italki. This job has become my passion and I enjoy doing it every day. I employ different methodologies and strategies depending on the individual.
At the moment I am working on an online phonetics course so I can better help students with pronunciation.

Hello Spanish learners! You can stop searching for your tutor right here. Jahdai is a fantastic teacher! I've taken many classes with him so far and my level of understanding and ability to converse have skyrocketed since i started studying with him. He's a language learning enthusiast so he really connects with students and understands their process of learning. He has near-native English so there's no lack of clear explanations that I need when I struggle with a difficult concept or gramatical construct. He's very patient and makes his classes enjoyable.
