Hi fellow language learners!
Sara here. I was born and I grew up in Italy, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan hills. I've lived in the Netherlands for a while and I currently live in Belgium.
Here my biggest passions:
1) MUSIC! I am a singer-songwriter, I play guitar and perform my own songs
2) LANGUAGES.. of course :) I am an avid language learner! I currently speak 5 languages (Italian, English, Dutch, French, Spanish) and I'm planning to learn a lot more in the following years (I'm currently studying Arabic and Portuguese)
3) TRAVELS! I love traveling, meeting new people and discovering new cultures. I'm also an active member on Couchsurfing :)Me as a Teacher
I started teaching Italian (my mother tongue) 3-4 years ago and I got very passionate about it! This made me decide in recent times to start teaching English and Dutch as well (mostly to Italian speakers and/or beginners). I'm a very patient and enthousiast teacher, always available to answer any question and to meet the needs of my students. My lessons & teaching style
My approach is very practical and aims to enable the students to have a conversation as soon as possible. During the lesson I take notes of everything we are learning or talking about, so that my students can have a PDF to study afterwards. I can differentiate any lesson according to the needs of my students and provide material with specific vocabulary or grammar.
I usually encourage my students to talk as much as possible: just at the end of the exercise or of the lesson we will revise the mistakes together and I will provide you with grammar explanation or new vocabulary when needed.
If wanted, I can give homework and useful links/tips.My teaching material
