Hey! My name is Lelde and I am a 25-year-old teacher from Riga, Latvia, but currently I live in Lugano, Switzerland. Because of my experience and curiosity of living in other countries and learning about other people I have become a polyglot and I now speak Latvian, English, Italian, Dutch, German, French and a bit of Russian! My experience as a teacher will definitely help you succeed quickly. Before being a teacher on Italki, I was a tennis coach and a study assistant at my university. I believe in learning through experience, rather than theory. In our lessons we will focus on having a conversation. One new word at a time. It will most likely feel intimidating at first, but on the other hand you will be learning a new language and you will have a very attentive listener, as I will focus on all the grammar and stylistic mistakes.
