Misato

Today marks the end of our N4 course. I started with Misato-sensei a year and a half ago at the very beginning of N5. Since I started, I've taken many classes with many different teachers on Italki. And I do say with confidence that Misato-sensei's lessons are the most well-structured lessons I've taken so far. It is clear that she knows her lessons very well. For example, on occasions when I forgot a grammar point, she could point me to the exact lesson where that grammar point was introduced on the spot! There were 50 lessons - each with around 3 grammar points - so this just shows the depth of Misato-sensei's experience. If you are committed to learning Japanese, I can't think of a better teacher to recommend to you! Looking forward to the next level!

My son loves his lessons with Misato-sensei. She is very patient, systematic and thorough with all her lessons. My son learns reading, writing, conversation and listening all in one lesson, each and every time. Misato-sensei also has homework to reinforce knowledge, and she always reviews so he does not forget easily -- always a good lesson with her! Arigatou gozaimasu, Misato-sensei!!

Lately I've been taking lessons from Misato-sensei (in addition to my son) and I've enjoyed her lessons a lot! I appreciate that she is always very thorough and systematic in her explanation. I'm using Marugoto text book with applicable grammar/vocabularies that I can improve on my existing skills. During free conversation, I feel I can converse freely with her about anything and she will give just the right amount of correction without interfering with the flow of conversation. Overall, I appreciate Misato-sensei very much, she is patient, knowledgable, skillful and just a very easy person to talk to. I will continue to take many lessons from her in the future. みさと先生ありがとうございました。

Misato sensei is an excellent teacher. I've been taking lessons with her for quite some time and have nothing but good experiences. Her classes are well structured. She is excellent at explaining japanese grammar and cultural context. She is very good at engaging with students to get the most out of their japanese. I would highly recommend her!

I have been studying with Misato Sensei for half a year now. I really appreciate how organized, detail oriented her lessons are, and how she explains things concisely in simple Japanese. Her lessons are laid back and fun as well, and I have plenty of opportunities to speak and chat. I feel taken care of, and I am grateful for that!

Miss Misato is a very professional teacher who also speak standard English to explain Japanese accurately which helps Joey a lot to understand. She is very patient during teaching my son. My son likes learning with her. I strongly recommend her to students who is about to learn Japanese
