Hi guys , I'm Alex a community tutor from England, United Kingdom. I have a passion for language learning, starting off with French 3 years ago to now adopting Spanish at a beginner level. Some of my other interests include music , fitness and travel. I can't wait to meet you all and discuss some of your hobbies and interests.Me as a Teacher
So I decided to take up teaching languages as a way to share a passion of mine with others. There is no better feeling than watching pupils progress over time, seeing the sense of achievement and joy as they reach their language learning targets. At first when I started learning languages I struggled to get to terms with speaking with natives as I feared making mistakes but that's what truly makes your journey worth it. It's a long process but being in this environment helps you build and adapt to the language and before you know it your level will have improved massively. I try to maximise Pupil speaking time to ensure you are getting the most out of your sessions and are taking it in.My lessons & teaching style
So I started learning languages at school and quickly realised the information just wasn't sticking. By using new methods and Italki it has allowed me to become confident and actually enjoy learning and practising the languages. Therefore my teaching style is heavily involved around maximising Pupil speaking time and retention by incorporating interesting topics and subjects. I want to ensure you can converse freely without worrying about making mistakes as that is best way to become confident in your language learning.Certificates
