He is very patient and knows exactly how to teach Tagalog. He explains clearly, listens well, and adapts to your goals. Great structure and very professional. Highly recommended.

Guro James is a great teacher and is often interested in asking his students about news from their region and sharing news from the Philippines as well. He prepares his lessons well if you have any outstanding questions he might not know, he will get back to you in the next lesson to answer particulars of Tagalog and also practise those examples. He is patient and will make the best use of time with however long your learning session is with him. I highly recommend him as an excellent Tagalog teacher and he's helped me immensely with improving my Tagalog. Maraming salamat po para sa mga session mo tsaka salamat sa pagtulong sa akin.

Amazing teacher - really personalises the session to your interests :)

My Filipino speaking has gotten way better with Mr. Tugade. He tells me when it is correct, and he gives suggestions on how it can be more natural. At saka nakakatawa siya; he's funny! Please select him to be your Tagalog/Filipin teacher. Napakahusay si Mr. Tugade!

James is an amazing teacher and highly recommend! His lessons are fun and practical - our conversations are casual yet the topics and lesson materials are always engaging. He does a great job at explaining while providing examples and other materials during our lesson. He is also very patient and understanding throughout our lessons! You will definitely improve your Tagalog when studying with James!

It was my first English lesson with James. He made me feel comfortable, and the lesson was enjoyable. I will definitely keep studying with him. Highly recommended!
