Easy going and friendly conversation in Greek! Practice reading and speaking! Hi! I'm Christina, and I'm so excited to meet you! I was born in Athens and now live in the city. I studied modern theatre and ancient Greek theatre in Thessaloniki. Apart from Greek, which is my native language, I also speak English, Italian and Japanese. I love learning foreign languages, and my goal is to become multilingual when I grow old. Some of my interests include travelling, hiking in nature, fitness, and cooking dishes from around the world! I love literature, movies, and crafts. I have three cats who naturally help in their own way with the atmosphere during the lesson :) I totally understand the difficulties someone may face when learning a new language, since I've practiced learning different languages. I understand first steps are hard to take and sometimes it might feel embarrassing, but we all learn by our mistakes so there is no reason to worry or feel anxious about it. I have also experienced myself the dreaded language learning plateau, where you seem to not be able to advance in the language. I know the secret is to just keep with your efforts and don't get disappointed. Language is not something you learn by studying only, but with experiencing the culture and connecting with other people. I know that Greek, in particular, can be challenging in terms of pronunciation, grammar, and spelling, and I'm here to help you with all of that!
