Hey, my name is Noël. I was born in the Netherlands, but I moved to Hungary when I was 9 years old. I am a native speaker of Dutch as well as Hungarian. I also speak English and German fluently, and I can speak a little bit of Polish and French, too. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Dutch Studies and I’m currently doing a Masters in Linguistics in the Netherlands. I’m really interested in learning foreign languages, linguistics and other cultures. Besides, I enjoy films, gaming, travelling and getting to know other people. During my lessons, I prefer to use online resources, such as short articles and videos, but if you have suggestions for other materials you would like to use, we can use those as well. During the first lesson I would like to find out what you are interested in and what your expectations are, so that I can personalize my lessons according to your own needs. I find it very important to create an environment in which you feel comfortable and encouraged to ask anything you would like to know more about. I’m looking forward to help you with learning Dutch and/or Hungarian. :) Important: I teach adults only. I plan my lessons according to your own needs and interests. I am very flexible when it comes to organizing my lessons, and as I mentioned earlier, I’m open to your suggestions, too. I update my schedule every week.
