Joe is one of the very few genuinely excellent teachers on italki - and I say this as someone who's quite critical and has high expectations. I first joined a few of Joe's group lessons, which stood out for their structure, engagement, and quality of discussion. I enjoyed them so much that I moved on to individual lessons, which have exceeded my expectations. Joe is highly professional, always well-prepared, and his materials are thoughtful and engaging. He calibrates vocabulary perfectly to my level, explains new words clearly, and uses fun role-playing exercises. He tactfully corrects mistakes, keeps notes for review, and includes regular revisions. Joe is an outstanding teacher - professional, intelligent, and genuinely dedicated to his students' progress.
