My name is Sarah and I am a TEFL qualified teacher on Italki. I first started teaching about 25 years ago. I have also run my own businesses in fashion, textiles and hospitality. I have a wide range of interests including nature, agriculture, literature, economics, politics and current affairs. At the moment I am living in Thailand and I am very familiar with many other Asian Countries. I love to meet people from other countries and cultures, and learn about their lives. I am a native speaker of English with a British accent and have good communication skills. I first started teaching 25 years ago and have taught children, teenagers and adults. I am TEFL qualified and offer lessons that are adapted to students needs and interests. Having spent many years outside the UK, I appreciate the difficulties faced by English language learners. I offer a friendly and relaxed approach whilst remaining focused on the goals of learning. My lessons are tailor made to suit the abilities and interests of the student. Each student is different and has their own interests and requirements, it is one of the things that makes teaching so interesting. I will help put together suitable materials and also help with pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. I have a flexible approach and it is important that the lessons are relaxed and enjoyable as well as productive.
