I recently had my first Spanish lesson with Vanessa from Medellín, Colombia, and it was a fantastic experience. After five years of learning Spanish, I like to test my skills by having conversations with new teachers, and Vanessa exceeded my expectations. She is incredibly patient and easy to talk to, which made the session enjoyable and comfortable. What impressed me the most was her ability to navigate an intermediate speaker’s conversation seamlessly. Offering corrections during a natural conversation can be challenging, but Vanessa does it so smoothly that it enhances the learning process without interrupting the flow. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Spanish in a supportive and professional environment.

Attention to detail is Vanesa’s superpower. She listens closely to every sound and helps me perfect my pronunciation. With her patient guidance and clear explanations, it’s easy to improve. I can already feel the difference in how I speak. Definitely a game-changer for my pronunciation practice!

Vanesa lets me talk and corrects my oral mistakes then moves into exercises for me to do orally. Nice balance of free oral expression and grammar/tense exercises.

Vanesa is very patient but at he same time is vigilant and corrects all mistakes, especially pronunciation errors in my case. I am now able to autocorrect some of my pronunciation errors.

This was my first Italki lesson and I feel very encouraged by Vanesa Zapata. Very easy going and patient.
