Learn Portuguese with a native in a fun and relaxed way :) Hello everyone! I was born in Lisbon, Portugal, but I have been travelling and living in different countries throughout my life. I have a background in biology and have been working as a scuba diving instructor for the past four years. I love learning new languages, travelling to different places, and being able to speak the local language. I have learned Spanish, Danish and French by speaking with natives and I know how hard it can be to start speaking. This is one of the reasons I am here on italki, so I can help you practise my native language and share with you the culture and traditions of my country. Actually speaking with native speakers is the best way to learn, so if you want to practise your Portuguese, I would love to chat with you! :) I want our time together to be fun and interactive. I believe the best way to learn a new language is to let go of the fear of talking and making mistakes, and just do it. I am patient and I don't mind repeating myself, so I really want you to feel as comfortable as possible making mistakes and asking as many questions as you need. We will try to speak as much Portuguese as we can, but I am obviously happy to translate if needed. I am always open to suggestions and new ideas, so feel free to let me know if something is not working for you and we can try something different.

Great teacher. She allows me to speak freely, gives me input, makes corrections, does not switch to English which she speaks perfectly (but knows that I would like to keep it Portuguese only). I really enjoy our sessions and I highly recommend her:)
