Karina is a fantastic teacher!! I have had several lessons with her now. She is very adaptive towards your goals! If there are times I wish to practice grammar, I just ask her and we discuss ways to practice. She teaches completely in Spanish. It is one of the reasons I selected her because I wanted an instructor who knew the importance in learning in a target language. My comfort in speaking Spanish has grown considerably since my first lesson with her. My advice to those who considering taking lessons from Karina is to go into your class having an idea of what you wish to focus on(vocabulary, grammar, conversation). This will help both of you work together on a way to meet, and exceed, the goals you have! Don't be afraid of speaking Spanish while still learning Spanish!! Highly highly recommend.

Karina speaks in a very understandable but also natural manner which helped me understand the regional accent in Uruguay much better. She knows a lot about her country and could give me many interesting destinations to visit in my vacation. She is also very friendly and nice to talk to.
