Welcome! I’m a 32 year-old language lover and creative soul from South Africa. Just like you, I’m a student too—currently tackling Zulu and Arabic, so I get the challenges of learning a new language! My background in Graphic Design, Film, and Photography means our chats will always be vibrant and visual.

I am naturally sociable and inquisitive. I can help you expand your vocabulary tremendously. I am extremely curious so I ask a lot of questions and I like to be asked questions as well.
I design my classes according to your needs and I insist on covering all the bases: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening so that students leave my classes feeling confident and optimistic in their ability to speak English. I have a variety of resources for all types of learning styles.

I want to see you succeed! My lessons & teaching style
In my classes you can expect to: read articles and have conversations about them, watch YouTube videos, practice tongue twisters, work on Articulation/Pronunciation, chat about everyday life, learn important grammar and vocabulary rules, practice writing skills and finally how to build confidence when speaking.
I give my students homework to improve the areas in which they struggle and I expect my students to do 30min to 1 hour of self practice daily.

For someone who wanted to overcome the fear of speaking and of making mistakes, Ché is a safe space. We've had three lessons and I'm looking forward to the next one. She is kind, patient, and if you have trouble finding the right word or don't understand something, she is always there to help. Ché is talkative and very friendly, so you always have something to talk about!
