Claribell

Another great lesson with Claribell! She makes conversation feel natural and easy, and it’s always enjoyable to learn through real discussion. In this class, she taught me more about Colombian culture and gave me a clearer sense of what daily life is like, which made the lesson especially interesting and practical. She explains new words clearly while keeping things immersive, so it’s easy to stay engaged and keep speaking. I really appreciate how our conversations help me build both language skills and a deeper understanding of the culture.

Another great lesson with Claribell! It’s always enjoyable to chat with her. The conversation flows easily, and it’s fun to exchange experiences while exploring interesting topics together. In this lesson, we touched on a cultural topic I was curious about, as well as hobbies involving movement and travel, which made the time feel engaging and dynamic. She’s very easy to get along with and creates a comfortable environment to speak. When I didn’t know certain words, she explained them clearly while maintaining an immersive feel, which made it much easier to stay in the language and keep the conversation going naturally. I really enjoyed getting to know her better while also learning more about cultural differences. It feels like these conversations are helping me not only improve my language skills, but also better understand people and perspectives along the way.

Claribell was a great instructor of Spanish. We were able to talk able to talk about a myriad of topics in a relaxed environment; furthermore, she sent me a message a few hours before the lesson asking me if I had any particular topics I wanted to discuss so she could better tailor the class to fit my needs. A great teacher indeed!

Claribell was such a pleasure to meet! This first class flew by! Even in just 30 minutes, the conversation flowed easily as we explored topics I’m genuinely interested in, and she had so much insight to share that it kept things engaging from start to finish. She does a great job of following your interests and turning them into meaningful, natural discussion. The lesson had a strong balance of listening and speaking, with plenty of space to express myself while still feeling supported. When I wasn’t sure how to explain something, she was very patient and helped me find the right words without breaking the immersive feel of the class, which made it especially effective. I left the lesson feeling more confident and motivated, and it gave me a clear sense that future classes with her will be just as engaging and valuable. It seems like learning with Claribell will support both my language goals and my understanding of the culture and people behind the language!
