About Me

Hello! My name is Rory, I'm 26 years old and I live in Essex in the south east of England, which is close to London. I'm a sociable and open minded person and enjoy having conversations with people from different backgrounds and cultures. My main hobbies include working out, watching sport (particularly MMA and football) and tv series/films. I started learning French during the first lockdown in England and I'm now at an intermediate level but there is still lots of room to improve upon. I would love to learn other languages in the future but my main focus at the moment is improving my French.

Me as a Teacher

I believe speaking is the hardest part about learning another language therefore it's essential to try and speak as much as possible. I can help you to sound more fluid and give you the conversational practice you need to become fluent. If you are a beginner, I will be very patient and write essential vocabulary down for you to use for the next lesson and if you are more advanced, I'll let you speak as much as possible and only correct you when you make noticeable mistakes. The lessons will be tailored to your needs.

My lessons & teaching style

We can discuss any topic that is of your interest, and I will provide recommendations in areas such as tv series, films, videos and articles which may help improve your English. The lesson is for you, so tell me what you need and I will build the lesson around you and help you in the best way you can! Language learning should be fun and relaxed so if you book a lesson with me I can promise you a calm atmosphere!
