Maité is an excellent teacher who has a natural ability to create a relaxed atmosphere for learning. I look forward to each class.

Learning with Maité is varied and stimulating, she engages with my own interests and supports my goals, yet also opens a window for me into Argentine culture. She creates a relaxed and non-judgmental setting for me to speak and understand Spanish. Having Maité as my teacher has made a huge difference in my confidence and skills.

Maité is an amazing teacher. Over the course of several trips to South America I memorized some Spanish and could get by in restaurants, hotels, taxis, etc. Especially if I only needed present tense! Unfortunately I was unable to have enjoyable conversations with the many interesting people I met. My knowledge was random and shallow. Maités’ classes have brought structure to my Spanish knowledge, so that I am actually learning it and not just memorizing it. She is a student of other languages and understands full well the challenges involved in learning new languages. She has taught a lot of Spanish to English speakers and knows what our main language challenges are and knows how to help us work through them. Maité is patient with my learning speed. In addition to already knowing more Spanish than I did a few short weeks ago, the classes have been thoroughly enjoyable, and I always look forward to the next ones.
