An experienced community teacher. I have been been living in the UK for more than 15 years. Welcome to my profile! My name is Lenka and I'm from the Czech Republic. I've been living in the UK for over 15 years. I have CELTA Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages I speak Czech, English and French. I have a Bachelor's degree in Foreign languages for Commercial use (English and French) and a Master's degree in French & Applied Economics. I studied in the Czech Republic and in France. I like teaching and learning languages, travelling, running, exercising and spending time with my family and my cat. I am patient and friendly and I will be supportive as much as I can 🙂. I have been a Community teacher on Italki for more than 5 years now. My lessons are focused on conversation but I can also help with grammar and pronunciation. We can talk about things you like. At our first lesson I will ask you about your language needs and what would you like to get out of the lessons. I will tailor the lessons to suit your needs. Regarding Czech lessons - please note that I teach students with some basic knowledge of the language. Please feel free to contact me if my availability doesn't suit you, I will always do my best to accommodate your request / find mutual convenient time. If you are not able to attend the lesson, please could you let me know if advance. I have been on maternity leave for the last couple of years but I am hoping to get back into teaching now again.

I just had my first lesson with Lenka. It was really enjoyable! I liked that she almost only spoke Czech. She talked so fast, but it was such a good practice for me. I’m looking forward to my next lesson with her.
