Valentina tiene muchos materiales para enseñar eficazmente a sus alumnos. Hoy aprendí cosas nuevas que no se enseñaban en la escuela. (Valentina has a lot of materials to effectively teach her students. I learned new things today that were not taught in school.)

Wow! Amazing first lesson. Valentina provided me a great deal of challenge by asking me a number of difficult questions which really made me have to dig deep to try to come up with the Spanish words and phrases sufficiently suitable for a response. Between the challenge of the questions and the feedback of how to say things better, it was a lesson perfectly suited for me. Challenging but not too challenging! Exactly where learning and growth are optimized!

Valentina has a great list of conversation starter questions that challenge me to use new vocabulary and express myself on less common topics. I get lots of good speaking practice with her!

Great lesson with Valentina! She introduces engaging, thought-provoking questions that make the conversation feel natural and worthwhile. The focus on discussion gives me plenty of speaking time while also strengthening my listening skills. I’m bringing back vocabulary I hadn’t used in a while and adding new words along the way. She’s patient as I work through how to express my ideas and offers helpful support when needed, which makes it easier to build confidence and communicate more clearly.

Great lesson with Valentina! She brings up interesting, challenging questions that are engaging to think through and offer the right level of difficulty for discussion. The class stays focused on conversation, so I get a lot of speaking practice along with strong listening comprehension. I’m also recalling a lot of vocabulary I had forgotten and picking up new words I can use in everyday situations. She’s patient and supportive when I’m figuring out how to express something, which helps me work through those moments more confidently. Overall, her classes are helping me improve my fluency and feel more comfortable explaining my ideas.
