Babak

I'm from the US and am moving to Dijon. I did not know French and decided to start lessons with Babak to learn French. My French has improved in the three months we have worked together, and I can now have conversations. Babak was so helpful and tailored lessons to my needs. He was always on time and ensured we went at a pace I felt comfortable with. Not only were our classes effective, but Babak gave me exercises to do in between lessons, which helped me improve my writing skills. Babak is exceptionally kind and always wanted to help me improve my pronunciation. He never made me feel bad about not saying things correctly and was always telling me why what I said or wrote was incorrect and working with me to understand why. I cannot say enough about how great Babak is as a teacher; I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn French.

I'm so glad I found Babak to learn French from and practice French with because he always makes me feel at ease. There's never a lull in the conversation as he always has ideas of what to talk about. You can talk with him about a wide range of subjects and he always has an interesting take on the topic. He's also very flexible on the structure of the lesson, unlike many professors who have a set formula. He lets you choose how best you would like to learn. He also helped me a lot with the practice I needed for the TEF exam. The practice sessions that I had with him greatly improved my vocabulary & infused creativity into my arguments. His feedback was always great and unlike many professors, he wasn't hesitant to voice his honest opinion on if I needed improvement and the areas where I could do better. He's played a huge part in my journey to get the score I need for the TEF Canada and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to learn or practice French.

Babaks Unterricht ist einfach fantastisch. Mir gefällt gut der Aufbau seines Unterrichts. Ein guter Mix aus Dialog, Gramnatikübungen und Selbststudium. Seine aufgeschlossene Art lassen den Französischunterricht viel Spaß machen. Les cours de Babak sont tout simplement fantastiques. J'aime la structure de ses cours. Un bon mélange de dialogue, d'exercices de grammaire et d'auto-apprentissage. Sa nature ouverte d'esprit rend les cours de français très amusants.

Perfect lesson as always – conversation practice tailored to my interests and needs as well as great grammar repetition with applicable examples.
