I'm Tim, a native English speaker from the West of England. I have been teaching English on-line since early in 2021 and have enjoyed every minute of it so far. I have an enormous passion for travel and learning new languages, even though I may be bad at it. I've lived all over the world during my 30 year career in HR and am currently studying a degree in Hotel Management whilst refreshing my French skills and working as a flight attendant. I love helping people from all over the world learn or improve English and can't wait to help you too!

Me as a Teacher

Throughout my career in HR I've had many opportunities to teach and coach my fellow HR professionals. Most recently I spent 4 years teaching appraisal report writing and 5 years preparing reports and documents at a government-level standard. I studied and gained my 120 hour TEFL certificate in 2020 and have been teaching on-line ever since.

My lessons & teaching style

I am a calm, enthusiastic, positive and relaxed language teacher. I understand that my role is to help you learn or improve your English language skills. I can offer feedback after every mistake or take notes and we can discuss at the end of the lesson. My background in the aviation industry has given me many years of experience to help you improve your business English. I have worked for some years in recruiting and have a whole file of example interview questions to help you prepare for a forthcoming job or I can critique and improve your English presentations. If you prefer we can have a simple conversation about everyday things. I am here to help you improve your English.
