Bonjour! I’m Camille, a native French speaker with a life beautifully split between the vibrant streets of Brussels and the colorful chaos of India. French is my mother tongue, and I’m equally fluent in English, which helps me connect with students from all over the world. For over four years, I’ve been teaching on Italki, specializing in creating relaxed, confidence-boosting French conversations—imagine chatting with a friend over a cozy cup of coffee, where mistakes are just part of the journey. My teaching style is warm, patient, and tailored to make French feel natural and accessible.

My lessons are convivial and very chilled, with me there is no pressure, we simply follow an appropriate rythme as I like to take my time and offer the opportunity to my students to do the same, I do my best to offer a kindly and friendly practice space so come as you are :)
My method is essentially based on conversation, exchange of point of views and activities in french, with the help of English if necessary. I like to adapt to the needs and goals of the student. I’ve been taking lessons from Camille for over two years now, and it’s always been a treat to speak with her! She’s an incredibly patient teacher, and having conversations with her feels very natural, like talking with a friend at a cafe. She teaches me new vocabulary words and phrases, and is always patient and understanding when I mispronounce something or take a while to find the right word to say. I highly recommend her!
