I am a UK native English teacher with over 30 years of experience helping learners develop precise, confident English.
As a language learner myself, I understand both the challenges and the rewards of mastering another language.
I specialise in advanced General English and IELTS preparation (B2–C2), supporting students who are aiming for measurable progress and high-level performance.
Some of my students have been learning with me for over a decade, which I believe reflects the consistency, effectiveness, and supportive nature of my teaching.

I have worked as an oral examiner for Cambridge English examinations and as an English language textbook editor for Oxford University Press and Express Publishing. This experience gives me a detailed understanding of assessment criteria, exam standards, and what examiners are really looking for.

Master's - Teaching English as a Foreign Language to AdultsOfqual, the exams regulator of the UK government, has confirmed that Cambridge ESOL's Delta qualification for teachers is at the same level as a Master's degree or a professional diploma in the European Union. This is a result of Delta being placed at level 7 of the UK government’s Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF), making it the only English language teaching diploma currently included at this level.
