I enjoyed my first lesson! I liked the way I could talk to Erin casually - this way it didn't feel like a lesson but more like talking to a friend. I appreciated that Erin tried to explain words I didn't yet know in Korean, before translating them in case I really wouldn't understand. Thank you so much!

It was a great first lesson! I loved that we were able to naturally chat just like friends, and appreciated that Erin would speak naturally and didn't use English or simplified vocab unless I needed it. She took the time to pause and send me new vocab words when I came across any that I didn't understand. Thank you!! I always prefer that to the teacher trying to adjust their speech to my level.

She corrected my mistakes and helpfully wrote them down for me in more natural Korean, which is extremely helpful in helping me speak more fluidly

The best Korean conversation practice teacher on Italki! She can help a student at any level and can keep the conversation in Korean if you so wish. I have studied Korean for many years and even teach to beginners, but benefit greatly from chatting with 곽선생님 and increasing my vocabulary and ease of communication with her. -Thank you again!

Erin definitely does a good job. Her pleasant personality creates a good learning environment. She writes many useful notes in chat. She knows English well, which is helpful for beginner students who speak English. Although she uses mostly Korean, she can translate tricky and difficult-to-translate expressions between Korean and English, which is helpful for intermediate and advanced level students.
