I have been teaching Amharic for over 4 years, and during this time, I’ve had the privilege of helping students from diverse backgrounds in their journey of learning Amharic. I thrive on making learning simple, fun, and engaging. As a passionate Amharic teacher, there’s nothing more rewarding for me than watching my students progress. Amharic doesn't have enough quality learning resources for English speakers to use. This inspired me to create my own teaching system and materials, which have helped my students make quick progress & also enjoy learning Amharic.
In my classes, I use a wide variety of resources that I’ve developed over the years, including podcasts, videos, stories, worksheets, flashcards, and more. I also tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs and goals of my students. Together, we can design a personalized learning plan just for you! I offer classes for all levels. Nadir is an amazing teacher! In a little over a month, he helped me go from being unable to string a sentence together in Amharic to feeling comfortable making simple conversation and getting to an A2 level. He is very attuned to what will help the student learn quickly. I highly recommend Nadir!

This is my first lesson I had with Nadir while back in Ethiopia after about 8-9 months studying on a near-weekly basis with Nadir from the US. My family and friends in Ethiopia are shocked at how much better I am speaking and how much more I know now. I wouldn't be able to speak this well without the resources that Nadir provides and his fantastic teaching style!
