Wendy

Wendy has been an incredible teacher and a true asset to me in my Chinese learning journey. She always goes the extra mile to ensure that I understand every grammar point that we cover and is always able to explain the subtle differences in usage of words with a similar meaning. Wendy is encouraging and is always able to inspire confidence. I'm grateful to have her help and kindness and have been steadily improving in my language abilities since taking classes with her. Learning a ton of new vocab and ways to phrase things in Mandarin that would be really difficult to look up myself. Especially some Taiwan-specific terms that differ from those in China. Wendy's also a great person to talk with about life/culture in Taiwan if you're interested in that.

Wendy is a great teacher, she is very positive and creates a relaxing and fun atmosphere for our classes. I feel very comfortable speaking my (broken) Chinese with her, and have made good progress since we have been doing our classes together. Her work method is really great, I like the use of Google Sheets, and appreciate being able to go back and see what we covered after class. Her explanations are always very clear and she is open to all questions (grammar, vocabulary etc). If you are looking for someone to practise speaking Chinese with, then I highly recommend Wendy!

Wendy is truly a fabulous and incredible teacher! She also has immense patience with myself and is very good at explaining grammar and new words that I'm unsure on how to use.
